COVID GUIDELINES

Your health and safety is our top priority. Please carefully review our current guidelines on this page before registering for any event. By registering for an event at Pure Land Farms you are agreeing to comply with all of our health and safety protocols based on applicable federal, state, and local guidelines. These guidelines are subject to change in accordance with Los Angeles county and CDC recommendations. Please check back regularly.

If you have been exposed to Covid-19 or are experiencing any Covid-19 or flu-like symptoms we request that you do not participate in our in-person programs and take part instead in our online programming, if available. Please contact us and we will refund you.

We request that you observe extra caution in the weeks leading up to our program, and wear masks when traveling or flying to our center.

All guests will be required to digitally sign an assumption of risk acknowledgement during the registration process.

If you become unwell while participating at an event at Prue Land Farms, please notify our staff immediately. If you are staying offsite, you will be requested to return home and given a link to participate online (if applicable). If you are staying in shared accommodations, it is your responsibility to find alternate accommodations offsite to self-isolate. If you are staying in private accommodations onsite, you may self-isolate in your room and meals will be provided to you there.

GROUNDS & CAPACITY

Pure Land Farms is a ten acre rural sanctuary with ample space for maintaining social distancing on our grounds. We have upgraded our center to provide more outdoor seating areas and new walking trails. Benefiting from the mild Southern California climate, events will be designed to utilize outdoor spaces as much as possible. We will be limiting the capacity of all of our events to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone.

HYGIENE & AIR FILTRATION

We have increased cleaning protocols and installed hand sanitizing stations for staff and visitors. Our indoor public spaces are equipped with air purifiers containing True Hepa H13 filters tested to Remove 99.9% of airborne COVID-19 & SARS-Cov-2 particles.

MASKS

Masks are now optional in communal public indoor spaces on property, including but not limited to Yuthok Ling temple, Welcome Center & Clinic reception; Student Lounge, and dining areas.

For those who prefer to stay home, please view our calendar to view our abundance of online events! We thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding during these changing times.

ACCESSIBILITY

We are working to improve our accessibility, and are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding access to our facilities. If you have specialized needs please reach out to discuss them with us ahead of time. We are currently not a wheelchair-accessible facility and the terrain is often rocky and uneven, with a good deal of gravel coverage. If you need assistance upon your arrival, please reach out to our staff. At present, our clinic space is only accessible by staircase, but our therapists can accommodate individual needs in other spaces on site.

PETS

We love your pets too but ask that you do not bring animals other than service animals onto the land. We strive to remain a safe space for people with allergies to animals in our accommodations and common areas, and have a delicate ecosystem.
